Do I have to pay for my booking online?
Unless you choose a special non-refundable rate, no deposit will be charged when you make the booking. You will have to pay the full amount of your booking upon arrival at the hotel.
Payment methods at the hotel can be with the card used to guarantee the booking, another card or cash, albeit always in euros. Please remember that the rates shown in other currencies on our website are only indicative.
How can I pay for my booking?
Unless you booked a non-refundable rate, which means that you will have to pay during the booking process, your booking must be paid in full upon arrival at the hotel and payment methods can be the card used as guarantee during the booking process, another card or cash. If you booked your stay at Mac Puerto Marina Benalmádena with a tour operator, please check with them if you can modify your booking. Check-in and check-out
What time can I check into my room? What time do I have to check out of my room? Can I have a late check-out?
At Hotel Mac Puerto Marina you can check in at 2.00 p.m. at the earliest and you must vacate your room at 12.00 p.m. at the latest. If you wish to have a late check-out later than 12.00 p.m., please request this at reception. We will check the hotel occupancy (since this option is subject to availability) and if we can satisfy your request you will have to pay a surcharge.
How can we speed up check-in?
By law, established under Order INT/1993/2003, of July 3rd, on registration books and traveller arrivals and other similar establishments, all clients over 16 years of age must be registered and have to sign a document, which is later sent to the police.
A few days before arrival, if we have your email, we will be contacting you with a link to fill in your details before arrival. If you don’t have your email because you have booked with a tour operator or online travel agency, you can email us to reservaspm@mac-hotels.com to request for the link to be sent to you via email.
We will arrive late at the hotel. Will there be anything to eat?
If the restaurant is closed when you arrive at Hotel Mac Puerto Marina, if you are on half-board accommodation, you will automatically have a cold dinner prepared for you.
Our flight does not leave until the evening on the day we check out of the hotel. Can we store our luggage in the hotel?
You must vacate your room at 12.00 p.m. However, you can leave your luggage at reception until you leave for the airport, bus or train station and still enjoy all of our facilities. Subject to availability, at the end of your stay we offer a courtesy room where you can shower and change before you leave. If the hotel is full, you can use the pool showers with courtesy towels, shower gel and shampoo. Another option is the late check-out after 12.00 p.m. (subject to availability and with surcharge).
Our flight is very early. Can we have an early breakfast?
Yes. At Hotel Mac Puerto Marina Benalmádena we offer you the option of waking you up with our wake-up service. If you notify reception in advance, we will wake you up and take your order for a cold breakfast that you can have at the restaurant before you leave. Cold breakfast from 7:00 am to 7:30 a.m. and picnic to take away when leaving before 7:00 a.m.

What are the rooms like?
All rooms at Hotel Mac Puerto Marina Benalmádena are double and have two single beds and some have two single beds and a sofa bed. Also, all rooms have a furnished terrace and all bathrooms are equipped with a bath. The Family rooms and Junior Suite also have a living room with a sofa bed. What is the maximum occupancy per room type?
Double rooms can accommodate a maximum of 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child. Junior Suites can accommodate a maximum of 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
What age is considered to be a child? What does Hotel Mac Puerto Marina offer for children?
At Hotel Mac Puerto Marina, children are those whose ages are between 2 and 12 years of age (both included). The hotel has a swimming pool exclusively for them which is 30cm deep and thus ideal for the youngest children. Please take into account that during the peak season, the use of inflatables and balls may be restricted in the main pool so that all our guests can enjoy it.
How much does it cost to have a baby cot in my room?
We can only add one baby cot in the rooms with 2 adults. If there is another child or a third adult in the room, we cannot add a baby cot. Baby cots are free of charge. If you want a baby cot in a room occupied by 2 adults, please notify us in the notes field when you make your booking or via email at reservaspm@mac-hotels.com.
Are the hotel’s facilities adapted for guests with reduced mobility?
At Hotel Mac Puerto Marina Benalmádena we have ramps in all accesses as well as a special chair to access the pool and three adapted rooms that have been partially adapted to provide guests with limited mobility more space and comfort, especially in the bathroom. Please contact us for more information. If you require additional mobility aids, these may be rented through a local supplier at the reception.

Our reception desk will inform you about all available golf courses. We offer discounts for some of them.
Do you provide pool/beach towels?
Yes. At Hotel Mac Puerto Marina Benalmádena we offer a towel service at the reception desk subject to a 10-euro deposit per item. You can change them as many times as you wish.
How deep is the main pool?
The pool is 1.1 metres deep (4 ft.) at its shallowest point and 1.4 metres (6 ft.) at its deepest end.
Is there a safe?
Yes, there is a safe at an extra cost of 2 euros per day and a 10-euro deposit.

How can we get to the hotel?
From Malaga Airport, you can get to Hotel Mac Puerto Marina Benalmádena by car. Leave Malaga Airport on the MA-21/N-340 towards the southwest for 6 miles. When you go under the large “Benalmádena” signpost, move into the left-hand lane and after 350 yards take the underpass that will take you to Calle de Alay. You can also get to the hotel by bus. From Malaga Airport, tickets cost 3.50 euros approximately. The bus runs 365 days a year, although we recommend that you check the timetables.
How can I book a transfer to the hotel?

How long does the shared transfer offered on your website take?
The shared transfer takes approximately 30 minutes from Malaga Airport to Hotel Mac Puerto Marina. However, it may take longer to get to our hotel depending on whether we are the first stop or the last one.
How much does a taxi cost from/to the airport?
A taxi to/from Malaga Airport costs approximately 30 to 35 euros. However, please remember that they only take up to 4 passengers and have limited luggage capacity.
How can I get from the hotel to the centre of Benalmádena?
Walk 700 yds. to the main street behind the hotel, where you will find the bus stop for the circular route that goes around Benalmádena. Bus tickets cost 1.45 euros approximately.
